This was great! Our first lesson went really well, Jody was very prepared and made it fun! Even my fiance, who is a disaster when it comes to dancing, managed to figure out the whole thing. We are going back this month for our second lesson and I am very excited!

My fiance and I wanted a basic dance lesson so that we somewhat knew what we were doing for our first dance at our wedding. Jody was fantastic! She knew exactly what we wanted, was a very clear instructor, and taught us enough to feel proficient but not too much to be overwhelming. With a little practice, I know we'll be ready for the big day!

Lessons were fun, personalized, and informative. "Show me how are you going to dance with me to the song." my fiance says. "Um.....". The thought of not being able to wing it in my own home was a bit unsettling, let alone in front of hundreds of family and friends. Time to find a professional. Opened thumbtack, quickly submitted request, and Jodi responded very quickly. Had a nice call, she was familiar with our song, and we both shared what we had in mind. She was very flexible with our schedule. She provided great feedback both to me and my fiance (and we listen and learn very differently.). She kept us entertained, and managed our stressful situations very well. 4 lessons later, we felt ready for the dance floor. Wedding night comes and most of our guests said how the dance was one of their favorite parts. Again, let me remind you I have 0 experience beyond high school swaying. Great job Jodi, thanks for helping make our Wedding the best day ever.

Jody was absolutely incredible to work with! My fiance and I did not want a fully choreographed dance, but just to feel more comfortable in our dancing skills. Jody knew exactly what we were looking for and taught us so much in an hour! Now, I can't wait until we have our first dance together!
