Hi, I’m Mattrice. I am a visionary planner which means I create events from the ideas, vision, and goals of my clients and turn them into momentous occasions. I am the proud wife of a Marine for almost 30 years, a mom of 3 fabulous young adult children, an event planner, a travel lover, a foodie, an author, a speaker, and a native Washingtonian. As a woman, wife, and mother I pride myself on making life meaningful each and every day by tapping into my gift of bringing meaningful events to life. I truly believe every event should be celebrated. For nearly three decades I have been building my event planning and management experiences creating and planning events for individuals, church organizations, non-profits, and corporations. I have had the opportunity to plan and manage both small and large-scale fundraisers, seminars, retreats, board meetings, holiday parties, reunions, bridal showers, and weddings. In 2016 I received my Master's Degree in International Hospitality Management, and in 2017 I launched Professional Momentous Events, LLC. As the Founder & CEO of my own event planning business, I build every event with a POP -by Planning On Purpose.
