I work for a government lab in Montgomery County as a research engineer (hold a PhD in mechanical engineering) and do applied math as part of my work. I tutor math for high and middle school students and teach AP courses also.
I can teach weekdays in the evenings or in weekends at my home in the Washingtonian center (Rio center) in Gaithersburg. I would be happy to provide references if needed.
