I cannot say enough about Za, here is the step by step process. We have a leak in a pipe somewhere behind the walls in an older house that was showing up as water in the lower level. An established 50-person plumbing firm with excellent reviews was recommended and ran a camera down the line for $500, diagnosed the source of the problem and gave an estimate. A very very high estimate, that when I asked for a breakdown, began with $1,680 to cover the furniture with a plastic tarp ("protective equipment/dusty control measures" and cut through some drywall. Well, that didn't work. When I asked for the camera footage the next day, they didn't save it and said I would have had to ask upfront and they'd put it on a thumb drive. They should do that without the customer needing to ask. I went to Thumbtack and found Za, told him the diagnosis, he came out and gave an estimate, no charge, and advised me where NOT to spend money. Because this was a large job, Za brought in his cousin, a master plumber, and they figured out where the cast iron main line would be behind the walls and only cut into the drywall where needed. Because the first plumber surmised that the feeder pipe was "completely compromised" and needed to be replaced, they cut into the drywall from the ceiling underneath, and discovered that pipe was not compromised, no leak, it was dry. Za made a vertical cut to look at the main line and discovered the hole where water was leaking out. Za cut out the damaged section of the main line and replaced it with 3" PVC. In one day, he and his master plumber cousin finished the job, and also picked up and installed a new toilet from Home Depot and removed the old one, cleaned the feeder line and main line with a descaling machine, cleaned the line from the house to the street, reset the toilet removed by the first plumber, unclogged a tub and sink drain in another bathroom, replaced a fill, sealed a leaky pvc pipe under the laundry tub, and advised me on installing my undercounter water purifier. They were fast, fastidious in moving furniture and rolling up carpet and covering furniture with drop cloths. Za is courteous, explains the job and options, and listens. He and has cousin are skilled and have integrity. And the cost was appropriate for paying a very experienced plumber and not paying five people and overhead in a large company -- plumber, technician (yes that was part of the estimate, someone other than teh plumber to clean the line), customer service rep, manager, 'drain cleaning service,' and owner.

I needed to relocate the gas pipe for my new oven. Za responded to my request quickly and provided a free estimate same day. The work was completed professionally. Za went above and beyond by helping with a couple other items unrelated to the oven. Highly recommend and would hire again for any future issues. Thanks Za!

Za was able to snake a blockage out of my main drainage pipe less than 24 hours after I contacted him and at a significantly better price than any other plumber offered. Will likely use his plumbing services again in the future. Thanks, Za!
