Alison was wonderful! We had a 2 yr old and 3 month old to handle. It was a beautiful day and it worked out as best as possible.Dec 31, 2014Verified
My event was plagued with rain, inappropriate guests, and many things that didn't go as planned. Alison Curtis, through it all, remained consistently calm, professional and positive. Her positive energy and creative spirit really made the event worth while. I'm thrilled with the quality of the photographs! They are absolutely beautiful so far, and I can't wait to see more.Sep 17, 2015Verified
I used Alison for a small, informal wedding at the courthouse in Annapolis and was very impressed. She is totally professional - quick to reply to questions, on time for the event, very personable, and works well with kids and adults alike. She took plenty of candid shots and also had good suggestions about where to take pictures. I would definitely use her services again!Oct 14, 2014Verified
Young professional who will gladly work in any location(s) to get that perfect picture. She has a great eye for the best places, lighting and poses. Her pricing is fair and affordable. Delightful to work with.Oct 2, 2014
- What types of customers have you worked with?I am an all service photographer, so I photograph anything from your puppies to your new baby to you naked for your husband (and tastefully!). Weddings are fun, and I enjoy meeting new people and, honestly, the best cake is to be had at weddings!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Be open-minded and uncanny. Be prepared to fall in love with more images than you intended to purchase. Do not plan to spend enough to purchase a Ferrari. Remember that these are not just pictures, but they are your memories, forever captured. Take them seriously, but not so seriously that your face looks like you're breaking in a new pair of boots by riding a wild stallion. If you see ideas on the internet, write them down so you don't forget you want to do the same thing. And if you don't see me in your grill on your wedding day, just know that I'm still working. Sometimes incognito is just the way to do it. Trust me, I've been here a million times. You'll only do this once.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?Top two? A) No, the digitalis images aren't yours or part of a session fee. No, because you are in them, they aren't just yours. B) wear whatever you are comfortable wearing. Truly, it's better that you're comfortable than matching!
