This was a great experience, and I will definitely keep Nero's Heating and Air Conditioning in my contacts for future usage. I placed an ad on Thumbtack at 10:30 am and the guys were out here by 1pm. They came out and quickly diagnosed the issue (bad capacitor), had a new part on the truck, check the freon levels, and within hours the house went from 85 degrees to a comfortable 75 degrees. This company is highly recommended and will be using them in the future.

I previously had supremeservice as my go-to hvac company. However, 2 months ago, my ac was not working and supremeservice told me that the blower motor failed and would need to be replaced and the cost will be around $2500 just for the labor. So, I hired Nero’s to get a second opinion and confirmed that it was not the blower motor but something else as my motor was running when Nero’s was testing my unit.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are based on knowing the prices of the large companies and exactly how to save my customers time and money. I usually charge $59 for a diagnostic fee that is then credited towards the repair should you choose to go ahead with it. Since repairs vary in difficulty, time and solution it is hard to give a standard price for repair.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically I start with a diagnostic fee and let all customers know I will diagnose and quote repair before completing repair should they choose to proceed.
