- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I LOVE to have a general conversation with the new consumer. This helps me get a better understanding of the customer needs and it gives the customer a better understanding of what I do and if I can help them!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA), Certified Professional Coding Instructor (CPC-I).
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It was a fluke! I never heard of coding. It was suggested by a colleague to take the class. Well, a year in a half later I was FINALLY hired as a coder and 13 years later the rest is history!
