What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You may go to the C-PUP website and call or email the owner direct to provide the following information: number of pets, breed, type of care you are seeking, dates of service and location (to determine if you are in our service area). Then we can arrange for a meeting at your home.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your service? If so, please share the details here.
We are one of the only services in the area that offers discounted midday dog walking rates. We provide hassle-free flat rates instead of time based fees and our on-line billing is as easy as opening an email. Once payment is received your visits and/or pet sitting is booked!
What types of customers have you worked with?
Those seeking private midday dog walks (just our walker & your dog) and/or midday yard time for your dog, cat sitting visits, overnight live-in pet sitting (where our sitter stays in your home with your pets while you are on travel for a simple flat rate). Also, note we walk dogs even when our customers are home. We have many customers who work form home that simply want to ensure regular midday exercise for their doggy.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
In seeking a service you should be able to speak with the owner directly and meet with them upfront. At that meeting you should be provided with the service's insurance certificate and a list of references without your having to request them. We carry the highest insurance & bonding coverage in every category. All C-PUP staff members are mature adults providing completely reliable pet care.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Any reputable service should be fully insured & bonded with at least 20 on-line reviews that not only appear on their website (that the owner types in themselves) but are from customers that go on-line themselves and type their own review outside the website (such as Google, Thumbtack, Facebook, Linked In, etc). All reviews should be at or near 5 stars. The service should provide you with a list of references without you having to request them along with a copy of their insurance certificate. The service should have been in business with proven track record for many years - preferably 10 years or more. Your point of communication should always be with the owner direct to ensure there is quality management from the top down. The owner should be accessible to every customer and their response time to your question or concern should be quick. You should never have to wait more than a day to hear back - I pride myself on replying within a few hours and oftentimes immediately as inquiries come in.
