I was a Maintenance Technician for almost 12 years before I started Newman's Handywork LLC. In that, customer service was our primary focus and I have made that the foundation of my company. Though Newman's Handywork LLC is a general contracting company we can be hired to build a children's playset, remodel your bathroom, turn an investment property for your next tenant, help flip your investment property, replace a disposal and I also have a cleaning division in my company. Great experience being a remote landlord trying to get an appliance fixed. Kevon was proactive and even ordered the part before visiting based on my description of the problem so he did not have to make another service call to fix the dishwasher.

We had an issue with the garbage disposal being clogged and Mr. Newman was quick to respond to the much needed help as it is hard not having a working kitchen sink. He worked thru Sunday and even came back the following day (Labor Day) to try and get it fixed. Although he spent hours trying everything he could to get the issue fixed, the sink was still clogged after everything, however. It was a bigger and puzzling problem that we just could not figure out. On a good note, the disposal was replaced with a new one. Mr. Newman is professional and is very focused on his work. He is determined to get the job done right and I would definitely call him again in the future. Thank you for your help!

We would hire Kavon again in a heartbeat! He deserves 10 stars--not only for the way he completed our project (a home gym) but also for his warm, friendly personality. After Kavon finished our home gym project, I asked him if he--at some point--could replace the damaged glass top on our stove. Although I indicated this may be a job in the future, Kavon was laying down to read the model of our stove in a flash and is going to give us a price on replacing the glass top. Also, he told us products we can try that just may fix the one damaged area (scraped and discolored) so that a replacement top may not be necessary. We were very impressed with his honesty and caring. Do not hesitate to hire Kavon...you will not be disappointed!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices reflect the work it takes to fulfill each request correctly. I'm not concerned with what a previous contractor quoted. I know what my company brings to the table and if Newman's Handywork LLC isn't the best fit, I totally understand and I don't take it personal.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I converse with a potential customer through text messages, in-person visit or a telephone conversation. Emails have worked better for some customers as well.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my Universal HVAC License, MHIC and DE general contractor's license.
