Introduction: Makimanta Landscaping Services has more than six years of experience offering our clients a customizable package of landscape and lawn care options, including lawn mowing, fertilizing, over seeding, garden maintenance, and leaf blowing. Our goal is to provide hassle-free landscaping, so our clients can relax and know that we will take good care of their lawn and garden. We also offer one-time clean-up services, where we will clear all overgrowth, trim, edge, and apply mulch in the color determined by the client. In addition, we have full-time and experienced employees that work installing wooden fences and also hardscapes. We have pictures available of past projects completed. We are licensed and insured and have references available. From design to implementation and then maintenance, our company is proud of the services we provide. I enjoy meeting one on one with clients and designing a customized proposal to meet their needs. Customer satisfaction is our highest goal - we are happy when our client is 100% satisfied with the job we performed.

Mr. Solo did a wonderful job on installing the sod and cleaning and adding mulch in my yard. The work quality was exceptional and he was very professional in explaining and giving instructions to me on how to care for my lawn. His price was also reasonable.

Israel and his team did a fantastic job tackling a large cleanup project in my yard, as well as trimming, edging, mulching, and planting new ground cover. Israel impressed me right away when he came out to give an estimate; he asked specific questions about the plants already there and made suggestions for how to improve things once the cleanup was done; the other companies I had come out didn't show nearly as much attention to detail or ask questions beyond what color mulch I wanted. Israel was prompt in responding to messages, and he and his team worked diligently on what wound up being an all day job. Israel made sure I was happy with the cleanup before moving on to the mulching, etcetera, and gave me some ideas for how to address a drainage concern and how to fill in bare areas of the mulch beds. The team cleaned up when they were done, and the yard looks leagues better. Can't recommend Makimanta enough! I'll definitely be reaching out again for future work.

So far we have liked what Israel has been able to quote being able to do and how professional he's been. We especially appreciated the suggestion to wait on seeding, and also the suggestion to build a drain off our gutter under the lawn! The project hasn't started yet, but we are excited to see what their crew will be able to do and update with photos later on.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our prices are customized for each client. We start the relationship with a free estimate, so that we can fully understand your needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We reach out via Thumbtack when a client submits a request in order to set up a free estimate at their conveniance. After the meeting with Israel (the owner), we send a personalized proposal within 36 hours. If the client accepts, we sign a contract and collect 1/3 of the payment as a deposit. The job is then performed within 10 days, and the client is invoiced for the remainder.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our employees have a combined 30 years of experience in the field, from cutting grass to installing different types of landscapes.
