Katz & Pooches was great! My cat is a very anxious cat that does not like to be left alone without attention for very long periods of time. Erika went the extra mile in taking care of my cat, even setting up a water fountain for her that I purchased previously so she could drink fresh water! I would definitely use their services again!

Working with Kats and Pooches was everything I needed and more. I have two cats and Erika was great with them, she was able to get their trust enough to have them enjoy her pets and she sent me lovely pictures on the days she came Not only did she make sure their food, water and litter needs were met, she also asked for a vacuum to help keep my area clean because you know cats track litter everywhere, so I was super touched. Aside from cleaning Erika also was great taking care of my houseplants and vegetable garden. I came home to a ton of healthy flowers plus two giant zucchini and tomatoes about to ripen, and Erika had enough knowledge about plants to let me know that some days she didn't have to water because she checked the substrate to see if it was dry! Seriously, this is the best pet and house sitter you could have.

I had the pleasure of meeting with the most amazing person yesterday. Erika Howell. She was very knowledgeable about caring for dogs. Her personality was very enthusiastic and caring. My dog King took to her very quickly. Now when I say her name he gets very excited and looks for her.

I never worried about my kitties while Kats and Pooches were caring for them. I got a full report and pictures every evening, so I was secure in the knowledge that they were fine. It made my time away much more comfortable. I will be sure to hire them again when I travel away from home.

My family appreciated the care that Erika gave to all of our pets while we were away. This was our first time using her company. We had a dog sitter once before and it did not work out so well. This was a completely different experience. The meet and greet gave us comfort in knowing that all of our animals would be well taken care of. Throughout our trip, she was responsive. One of our dogs has a few medical issues, but Erika was not phased and handled him with the care we hoped for.

With our services we do charge per pet / per service day ( not per 24hrs ). We do provide discounts as well for additional pets. We will explain more in depth during our meeting.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally we do a meet & greet face to face so that we can get to know our clients and our new fur friends! We discuss what their expectations of us are and what do we have to do in order to take care of their pets & their home. We ask questions about your animal’s behavior and if they are up to date with their shots.
