We feel incredibly fortunate to have found Adam. My wife and I spent maybe 40 hours researching how to treat bed bugs, and about a month trying to deal with the problem ourselves. After spending/wasting money on internet "solutions", endless vacuuming night and day, and load after load of laundry, we called Adam. Adam was completely versed on the problem, knowledgeable on every aspect, helpful with laying out a plan, and incredibly patient with our endless questions. Through every step of our work with Adam, our expectations were exceeded. And honestly, for the time that he spent in our home and the Hurculean task he performed, his rates were more than reasonable and I don't know how he can do so much for so little. AND he also solved our bed bug problem and the treatment he used did NOT endanger me, my wife, or our two kittens! In the end, I couldn't give a higher recommendation for a pest control (extermination) professional. The world would be a better place if everyone was as knowledgeable and took so much pride in their chosen profession. Thank you Adam for literally giving us our house and our lives back. Whomever said the most stressful things in life were moving and getting a new job, never had bed bugs. There is nothing worse than having your home raided by these little buggers. Luckily we have Adam and his team. Unfortunately for the bed bugs Adams knowledge of his craft makes him a mean and very effective bed bug killer. He is patient and thorough and will eradicate your house entirely in 1 or 2 treatments. His customer service is impeccable and his response time was amazing. After two weeks of what I thought were worsening mosquito bites I did some research on the internet and discovered that I may have bed bugs. I started freaking out abs called Orkin (the only pest control company that I had ever heard of) and they were able to come out a few days later and do an inspection (a $95 inspection). She did what I thought was a pretty thorough search found one bed nymph bed bed in my room in the basement and said it was going to be 1 thousand dollars to treat the basement and living room area. Although I thought that was expensive I scheduled an appointment for later that week (mostly so I could figure out how to pay for it) but after talking with my roommates (who had no evidence of bites) we decided that was waaay to expensive. So I looked online, somehow came across thumbtack and Penny from Adam Johnson Pest control was quick to respond to my inqury. We talked back and forth on the site that night and I was able to speak with her on the phone first thing the following morning. She said that after our discussion and my reports from what Orkin did there would be no need for them to do an inspection (which would have been a nominal fee, much less than Orkin), and she was able to schedule for she and Adam to come out the next day for treatment. They agreed to treat the entire house for $650, which included an entire finished basement and full bath, 2nd level kitchen and living room area, and the 3rd floor that had 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms!!

I have payment plans and discounts for work done the same day of service if needed. But must be discussed at the time of scheduling.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to explain the options and treatment process along with hearing feedback from the customer. Another thing I like about being self employed is I give every my full attention and hear their feedback and if needed I can work with them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I take a yearly test of new and up to date state test information
