- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All of the prices listed on thumbtack are inclusive of a deposit - no surprises!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love connecting with customers on Thumbtack (please don’t ever hesitate to send me a message!). We usually send a few messages back and forth to get an idea of what they’re looking for. Following that, I like to schedule a time to meet for coffee so we can discuss details in person and start planning. I’m always happy to help with outfit selection along with other details if the customer wants/needs it! I have found that all of this conversation helps leading up to and during the photo session. At this point, we know each other and are comfortable with snapping posed and candid shots. Depending on the nature of the shoot and the client needs, I spend anywhere from 1-3 weeks in post production. For those occasions that take longer to edit, customers can expect teaser packages of 5-10 photos. I’m happy to provide digital proofs and copies of all photos. Print packages may be arranged upon request.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self-taught photographer and, in recent years, have taken a number of classes to fine-tune my craft and further develop my own style.
