FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We keep our pricing clear, competitive, and based on the actual scope of the project. The final price depends on the flooring type, square footage, removal needs, prep work, trim details, stairs, and the overall condition of the space. Our goal is to give customers a fair price without cutting corners on the parts that matter most: proper preparation, clean installation, and a finished floor that looks professionally done. Before starting, we make sure the customer understands what is included so there is a clear plan from the beginning.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We try to make the process simple and organized from the start, because we know flooring projects can become stressful when communication is poor, timelines are unclear, or details are missed. We start by learning about the space, the flooring material, the approximate square footage, and whether old flooring needs to be removed. We may ask for photos or schedule a walkthrough so we can understand the condition of the floor before giving a more accurate estimate. Once the scope is clear, we explain the work, the timeline, and what the customer should expect before, during, and after installation. Our focus is to avoid the common issues customers worry about: messy work, rushed installation, unclear pricing, poor communication, uneven floors, bad cuts, and unfinished details.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our training comes from over 20 years of real hands-on experience in flooring installation. Over the years, we have worked with all type of flooring materials across many different home conditions, layouts, and project sizes. That experience matters because flooring is not only about laying material down. The quality of the finished floor depends on prep work, leveling, cuts, transitions, layout, moisture concerns, subfloor condition, and knowing how each material should be installed. We are MHIC licensed and insured, and we bring that professional experience into every project.
