Introduction: Hi there, I'm Joey Rushfield! I am a portrait photographer from Rockville, MD. I have done photography for clients since 2017. Customers praise me for being easy to work with and flexible. My clients love the way they look in my photos: my favorite part of photography is watching a client's facial expression when they look at the photo straight out of the camera, jaw dropped, saying "is THAT me?" I currently hold degrees in Elementary Education and Digital Photography. Outside of taking pictures, I am a teacher with experience working with children from the ages of 4 through 17. As you can imagine, this comes in handy for portraits of children and family photos! I have a very small home studio, suited for solo portraits. If you're interested in headshots, this will work, but for family portraits and couples' portraits, please keep in mind when reaching out that we will be working on location. If you have locations in mind, great! Otherwise, I have several that I know are great, and am happy to make recommendations. For all photography, but especially notable for wedding and event photography, I promise a fast turnaround time (under two weeks in >99% of cases). I know how exciting it can be to get your images delivered... I can barely hold myself back from doing it all when I get home; I get excited about editing them! "Two weeks" is a formality: chances are, you'll get your photos within days. The only exceptions to this would be circumstances where I have multiple events sequentially or an abnormally high volume of photos to work through, which I of course will communicate with you should such an issue arise. All this talk about delivering photos is making me excited... Who wants to get out there and shoot some pictures?
