FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a short pdf I can send that explains exactly what each fee gets but here is the basic. Discount. If i've worked with you before, I do offer a discount since I already know your fit and will have a base pattern saved for you, saving both of us time, and you money. Consultation 1hr: $100 (applied to final cost if we move on with the project) Rushed orders, within two weeks of wear date: $100 (applies to elaborate designs, think a dress needing a corset base) A 33% deposit is required before each project is started. This is to put towards an and all materials need for the project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free fifteen minute phone call/video consultation with any costumer. If it looks like we're going to need more time for the consultation then we go into hourly. This will most likely be a video call due to Covid-19. If we decided to move on with the project after our consultation then we go into important dates as in the try-on dates and the wear date. If we move on to the project, the amount paid for the consultation will be put towards your final cost. If we cannot work something out due to timing and other factors, half of the consultation fee will be returned back to you, but i'll do all I can to make sure we do work something out.
