FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Bakers' Studio's pricing system is not complicated. It is specialized custom work, so it is a bit like buying an engagement ring. We try to meet your budget if we know what that is. There are so many variations in designing and we work with the client to establish what is wanted to match the "image" or importance of the art. We provide "roughs" that are helpful in this regard. Because we have been providing Calligraphy & Art since 1971, we have a lot of experience and flexibility to rely on. We offer a term of thirty days on our invoicing. We accept cash or checks as payment. We don't accept credit cards.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I prepare Resolutions, Awards, Certificates of Appreciation, Citations, Special Recognitions for presentation at my clients' annual meetings and conferences. Not only do I prepare the art, my Studio goes father in taking care of the professional custom framing. We help to select the best acid-free materials, the appropriate colors for matting, the correct frame molding and display glass to make it a complete, high-quality product that may be delivered to the client for presentation at a formal event.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
First off, the customer should know that I am available for a live consultation regarding their project. One should have a desire to express the sentiment one has toward the intended recipient or to acknowledge the good service or work the recipient has provided to his or her Association or Organization. One should have a need for promoting professional accomplishment among members of his group and wish to use the high quality art of Calligraphy and design that reflects their image. One should have a sense of good Public Relations. Customers should provide approved copy that is readable. They should include a logo if they want it replicated in the art design and since I might add color (s) to the art, what PMS # I should strive to match. I should have the project in my Studio at least 10 working days before the due date otherwise there will be a RUSH fee.
