Sara Friedman

As a published writer and editor, for more than 25 years I have been helping clients who seek clarity, organization, compelling substance and/or to find their own voice. This includes editing short-to-long documents from brochures, essays or short papers to longer reports and books for individuals or largely non-profit organizations. I enjoy translating academic and technical or challenging material into accurate and user-friendly narrative, and have many times been asked to 'rescue', rewrite and enliven rambling, unfocused materials. I look forward to give and take with the writer to help reach mutual understanding and focus on the goals. I have published six books of my own from major publishers as well as numerous articles brochures to long reports and proposals, and teaching. My editing, of course, includes copyediting, which includes grammar, punctuation, good English and all requirements for an acceptable final draft.
