About me: I’m Melinee, but most people just call me Mel and welcome to my little corner of the internet 😊 I am a photographer based in Maryland but travel for projects around the globe. My goal is to show the beauty, grace, strength, and enthusiasm of people. I look for boldness and fortitude in my work and I take great pride in capturing the true spirit and personality of the people and subjects that I photograph. My style has been described as creative, fun, natural, engaging, vibrant, and relaxed. (Yes, I said relaxed…) I understand that not everyone is comfortable in front of the camera, but as your photographer, I take time to engage in conversation, listen with my ears and camera, and pay close attention to the smallest of details. Melinee was amazing! From start to finish, she was so thorough and professional in every little aspect. It was our first photo shoot as a family and with two little kids I was expecting a lot more bumps than we experienced! It went so well and she worked with everyone, my husband and kids so comfortably. Everyone I’ve shared the family photos with has just been amazed at the uniqueness and freshness of them! Shes so worth the hire🤍

We had a great time working with Melinee. She brought good ideas on what we could do for shots and provided some guidance on possible themes generally. She was also great with our twin 4 year old boys who are not easy to keep focused for an entire hour.
