One of the greatest feeling for a DJ is to mix a track and hear positive remarks (such as screams, roars, woos) from the people on the dance floor. It let me know I'm doing my job well.

We were so impressed with Karl for our wedding reception. He's professional and very personable. He does an impeccable job reading the crowd and adjusting the music where needed. He was able to adjust to the changing needs of our wedding reception, and he kept a smile with the dance floor hopping. He is highly recommended.

We had Karl DJ our September Wedding and my wife and I do not have enough good things to say about Karl. He was incredible from the initial conversation to the final song of the wedding. Karl was very attentive in the entire wedding planning process and exceeded all of our expectations. We had a very specific range of songs (from Disney songs, songs from the 1940s, to Bachata and everything in between) and Karl came prepared! Nothing was missed. The flow/transition of the music was perfect. It flowed very naturally throughout the night starting out slow during dinner to the party music afterwards. The venue we chose did not have an outdoor speaker and Karl was generous enough to bring his along with all of his needed gear and more. Again, I cannot recommend someone to DJ your wedding (or event) than Karl. He understands exactly what is needed from a DJ’s point of view and comes ready to go. He was also a great reference point in the planning stages as my wife and I did not know exactly how weddings are normally run. His experience helped!! One final thing, Karl is a legitimately genuine and great person! Super nice and professional and he made us laugh during our Zoom calls and the day of the wedding! 10/10, 100/100, 5 stars, and whatever else is a perfect score. Thanks again for everything Karl!! DJ Brucemus volunteered his time to put on a rad virtual dance party for adults with disabilities during the height of the pandemic. He was a pleasure to correspond with - a genuine, professional person - and a great DJ. His set was a ray of light in a dark season =).

Karl is the absolute best!!! He made my sister's Wedding day so much fun with his wonderful selection of music and fun personality!! He had something for everyone and engaged beautifully with all of the guests! He even taught us a couple dance moves! Karl is a pro and knows what it takes to make your occasion a memorable and happy one!!

We are so happy we hired Brucemus Media to DJ our wedding. Karl was so organized, kind, and thoughtful. He touched base with us several times virtually prior to the event, took precaution for a guest with epilepsy, and even went above and beyond to help us with other aspects of our wedding such as additional vendor recommendations. He also remained in contact with the venue which helped us out big time. We can't say enough great things about Karl and highly recommend him.
