After a decade as a commercial fisherman, I’ve traded the ocean for the road to start my own operation: Haul Away. I bring that same 10-year "no-nonsense" work ethic to every removal and demolition project in Greater Portland. As an owner-operator, I personally manage every job. From a single-item pickup to full estate cleanouts and interior demolition. For larger projects, I scale my team to ensure the work is completed safely and quickly. I’m fully insured, offer fair pricing, and provide same or next-day service. At the end of the day, leaving a happy customer with a clean space is always the goal.

Alec has become an indispensable part of my property management efforts in the Portland area. Hes reliable, consistent and most importantly has a level of attention to detail that frankly cant be taught. On one specific occasion, I relied on him to pick up a couch and move it from one property to another, after multiple attempts to get it in through the door / stairs he realized the window was a better option. Alec managed to get a white couch in the window, and a beige couch out the window without any dust / dirt / smudges on EITHER couch and even took the time to properly fit the window frame back when he finished.I know I can count on him to be responsive, have a great attitude and consider him an asset to my team.

We have used Haul Away multiple times and every experience has been great. We needed big items taken to the dump like a king size bed and Haul Away took it with no hesitation. Haul Away is an affordable dump service that we will continue to use over the years. Highly recommend!
