I am a doctoral candidate in piano performance at the University of Michigan. I am also pursuing a music theory teaching certificate. I teach classical music and I am very passionate about it. I also love explaining theoretical concepts concerning the craft of composition, which includes harmony, counterpoint, form, and style. I love sharing my passion and everything I know with others which makes teaching a very fulfilling experience for me. As a pianist I am trained by people who come from the Russian school, which means that I have a very extensive knowledge of building piano technique. As a teacher I am an instructor in the University of Michigan, I have private students, and I am a choir director of a large choir made out of wonderful school kids.
