FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pre-built packages are competitively priced, but I’m more than happy to create a custom package according to your needs and budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Everyone starts with a free, 30-minute consultation via Zoom or phone. We'll discuss your budget, needs, timeline, and how we'll work together. This session is recorded. It's important for you to come prepared to our first conversation with your professional history, aspirations, and other relevant details for best results. Based on that conversation, I'll build a custom bundle and provide a cost estimate within 24 hours. Upon agreement, I'll email you a service contract for signature and an invoice. Once paid, please allow 72 hours for completion of your first draft of materials. When your assets are ready, you will be notified via email. I will then schedule a workshop session via Zoom or phone to address any follow up questions and edits. Once that time is up, we're done and you're ready to apply. If you require further edits outside of the designated workshop period, you will be charged an additional fee.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a veteran writer and editor with 11+ years of experience leading communications for higher education institutions and their affiliates, including the University of Michigan and Michigan State University. My byline has appeared in the Law Quadrangle, Detroit Legal News, Awesome Mitten, Dublin’s FOOD&WINE Magazine, Red Cedar Review, iNG Magazine, and Sun Times News. A highlight of my freelance career has been editing Journey: A Mother's Account of Love, Loss and Spiritual Healing by Mitzi Montague-Bauer.
