Yes, I attend workshops and certification programs to stay abreast of the latest developments in health research as it relates to a vegan diet.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a middle school teacher who would provide vegan treats for my homeroom class. Over time, I found myself increasingly more concerned with what my pupils were eating and how their diet effected their health and behavior. Eventually, I left the teaching profession to attend culinary arts school in Portland,OR.
