FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typical rate is 25.00 an hour for standard residential cleaning. However I can quote you a better priced flat rate after the initial clean, when I am better accustomed to the needs of your family and the specs of your home. Regular clients (2x month or more) receive a standard discount. I also offer a federal program for sharing my name.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally determine their needs via phone or electronic communication, and would pop by the address at a time that works for both of us. Then I can give a more concrete idea of the length of time it would take me to straighten the home to their standards. When we meet we will go over products to be used, day and time that it will be scheduled, and any other information the homeowner feels is important to share with me. I'll typically close out the job by leaving a note on the table with a greeting or any follow up instructions, and a review card asking for their comments and concerns. I ask them to leave this card in a visible place on my next visit, so that if I need to accommodate any additional needs, there is an open form of communication.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a notary public, and also a licensed Property and Casualty Insurance Agent who takes 24 credit hours each year to keep up to date. I know and understand your home and the materials it is made out of, and know how to properly maintain them so that they have a long life. I've worked in Insurance, Insurance restoration, and in the claims field. I am also a parent of teens who were once toddlers, which made me become an expert at remedying some sticky situations such as nail polish on carpet, and sharpie marker on walls. no amount of insurance, homeowners, or restoration training provided me with the same level of expertise I gained simply from being a mom. A mom with patience.
