ABOUT PETE MARTINEZ: My name is Pete Martinez, a lifetime Professional Musician. “Mtz” is a traditional abbreviation of Martinez. You can call me: "Mr. Pete". I am a father to 2 beautiful little girls and married to an amazing wife, partner and best friend. I am Detroit trained and schooled musician and I am here to help you. I am a “child of pop” who studied jazz and has worked in about every style there is including Country, Electronic Music, and Contemporary Christian (as Director of Worship Arts). I’ve owned and operated studios in Michigan and in Texas and now offer instruction exclusively online. I began online music lessons years before the pandemic scramble to create an online studio. I am as near as your computer or other device. I am available for a free consultation. I am here to help you play comfortably, confidently, and correctly…all while you’re making music and having fun. I will be your guide, your trainer, and your biggest fan.
