In this generation, DJing has grown significantly and with progressions in technology it is easy for anyone to get into it. But just because they can afford equipment and have a large mp3 collection, doesn't mean that they perform well or not. A DJ should be mindful of sound levels and equipment, what is happening in the room/venue, how the crowd is reacting, and know how to react should any of those throw obstacles their way.
