- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A job under $6000 usually requires 50% down, over may be structured. Hourly rate per person $100. Designers are not compensated.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started out doing upholstery in 1972 and continued in interiors and woodworking ever since in a mostly hands on or teaching role. Three years arch in high school, one year arch at Lawrence Tech graduate of Kendall (interiors) 1979. Taught for Cleveland Woodworking Academy from 1997 to 2007.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have mostly worked with clients that were customers of designers or arch . Generally my arraignment was with the client of the designer, be it a residence or a commercial space. I started out in West Bloomfield and except for three years in Los Angeles (till 1983) I still maintain contacts in the area. I have supplied larger types of contracts, (as I continue to do) video stores, car dealerships, law offices, restaurants, yet I am interested in the occasional bedroom or dinning table...
