- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
After figuring out how long a job will take, I assign an hourly rate defined by ease or difficulty of the job at hand.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A customer needs a job done, I try to think through the job step by step what the job will need: TOOLS AND MATERIAL - what tools and material do i need to complete this job? COST- what are the probable and possible cost i will incur completing this job? TIME - how long will it take to complete EFFICIENCY - how can i improve any of the above numbers to make the job more efficient PRICE - by now with the information provided my the client i now know exactly what it will cost to finish the job QUOTE - with all information considered i can now give a quote for the job to be completed to the client
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Woodworking - While i list my experience as 15 years my obsession with woodworking goes back at least 20 Carpentry - I finished job corps with an advanced certificate in carpentry in 1996 Carpentry - After four years in the U.S. ARMY I joined the local carpentry union fulfilling a life long dream of becoming a professional carpenter.
