- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge by square foot. There is some variation in pricing depending on flooring layout, type of flooring and how much subfloor prep work will be necessary to acheive the industry standard of variations less than 3/16" within a 10ft span.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Discuss project goals, timeframe and budget on the phone and scheduling an in person meeting, measurement and follow up with a formal estimate by email. Typically discuss rough estimate and scheduling during our first in person meeting.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been installing and sanding floors since I was 18 with my uncle who owned his own hardwood business. I had apprenticed for several years as a young man and began taking my own jobs and building my own business in 2019.
