Mr. Gabe was great. My daughter struggled with confidence in math. After just a few sessions with Empowered Tutoring, her confidence was restored and her grades and assessment scores improved significantly. We look forward to getting her plugged in for the new school year to help her remain consistent.

I cannot say enough great things about Mr. Norwood and the impact he has had on my son, both academically and personally. He didn’t just tutor him in math, he mentored him, encouraged him, and helped build his confidence throughout the school year.
At the beginning of the year, my son was struggling in math, but after working with Mr. Norwood, the improvement was incredible. Even his teacher noticed a major difference in his understanding, confidence, and overall performance. With Mr. Norwood’s patience, consistency, and dedication, my son was able to completely turn things around, finish his class with an A, successfully move on to the next grade, and is now ready to begin high school with so much more confidence.
As a parent, there is no better feeling than seeing someone genuinely invest in your child and help bring out their potential. Mr. Norwood truly cares about the students he works with, and it shows in the results. I am beyond grateful for everything he has done for my son and would highly recommend him to any parent looking for someone who is not only an excellent tutor, but also an amazing mentor and positive influence. Thank you, Mr. Norwood, for playing such an important part in my son’s success!

Mr. Gabe is phenomenal !! He truly takes the time to connect with your child and understand exactly what they’re working on in school. He builds on what they’re learning in the classroom and was able to help my son across multiple subjects.
I noticed an improvement in my son’s grades almost immediately! What stood out most to me was how attentive, patient, and invested Mr. Gabe was in his success. Bringing him on as supplemental academic support was one of the best decisions I could have made for my son.
I would absolutely recommend Mr. Gabe to any parent looking for a knowledgeable, dependable, and caring tutor!!! To think this is his part time job, he teaches all day at work and still has more to give to your child he is truly a gem !!

Mr. Norwood is GREAT! His tutoring style is patient, encouraging, and easy for my daughter to understand. He takes the time to explain concepts in different ways and makes sure she understands the material rather than simply giving her the answers.
I’ve seen a positive difference in my daughter’s confidence and understanding since working with Mr. Norwood. He is attentive to her individual needs and does a great job keeping her engaged and motivated. Overall, I feel his tutoring has been effective and beneficial to her academic progress
