- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices listed here are for full hour sessions, but I also offer less expensive half hour sessions. If you refer a friend, I offer $10 off your next session! I charge extra for travel beyond 20 miles of my zip code (48910). You will receive your photos within 2 weeks, however, rush pricing is available. If you would rather have a flash drive than a digital download, I offer flash drives with shipping included for $10.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start out with a phone call or email to get a better sense of what you are looking for in the photo session. I also offer advice about good outfits for the family, any props you might be interested in, and good locations.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been taking photos for over 10 years now. I taught myself photography first with vintage film cameras. Film forces you to think deliberately about every photo since it is expensive and time consuming to develop. Since then I have moved into the digital age! Several years later, I have my bachelor's in Art and I am still photographing people and pets!
