Hey there! My name is Catalina. I’m a photographer from Jackson, Michigan, now living in Ferndale, a suburb in the Detroit area. Here’s a little about me: Over the past 10 years, I’ve grown from a published commercial photographer to a published journalist, and now into a portrait photographer. It’s been such a beautiful journey. Blending my love for the precision of a perfect shot with the documentary style I developed in journalism, I’ve discovered my own personal approach to photography. It’s felt like relearning myself—almost a metamorphosis. My work has often been described as cinematic, as if you stepped into a time machine to witness the moment firsthand.
