- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Step one: gather information. I have a questionnaire that we can go through that helps me get a feel for what your needs are. Step two: prepare a design. I put together a design for the homepage and send that to you. From there we can make changes until you're completely happy with how it looks. Step three: prepare a live version. I set up your new website on my server, and it will include all content and images so that it looks exactly how it will look once launched. We can make even more changes here, until everything is 100% the way you want it. Step four: launch! Your new website is launched on your domain name and then we throw a party!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Every Monday is my "Learning Day." I spend that time going through tutorials, reading about design trends, and learning new skills. It's crucial that my knowledge stays up-to-date, so that I can provide the best services and advice possible to my clients.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It's been a hobby for me for quite some time, and I decided to pursue it full-time back in 2012. I was worried at first that it would become a chore, but I'm still loving every minute of it!
