FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price everything a la carte. This allows clients to build the perfect package for their needs. I do have some pre priced packages that cover the most common needs, but you can always add extra things on those. Coverage starts at $250 an hour, engagement, boudoir, or bridal portrait sessions are $200 for an hour, second shooters can be added for $500 for all day coverage.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Many times after I send a quote or more information to a client I request to meet with them in person. For a senior photo session or family session this step isn't required, but most certainly available if you feel more comfortable. I have a wedding guide that will be sent to any prospective client, and if they decide to hire me all contracts and invoices are done electronically. For weddings I highly suggest meeting with me in person. I have had a lot of success with meeting with clients and being able to answer their questions and even show examples of prints. I am able to better understand how your big day will be planned out, and makes us both feel more comfortable moving forward. We can also take care of the deposit and signing the contract at this meeting.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with a BFA in Photography from Kendall College of Art and Design, while there I was always challenged with new material and techniques to keep my knowledge on the forefront. I also studied abroad in Italy for a summer and took a photography class there. While studying and traveling I was able to gain new perspectives on not only my work, but the field of photography as a whole. I constantly look for workshops and other opportunities to grow, as I am constantly wanting to learn more and more.
