Simply put, Shannon is amazing! My boyfriend and I did a "couple" shoot with her, and we had so much fun! Shannon gave us lots of location ideas beforehand, was prompt with her communication responses, and came prepared for the shoot (she got there early, scoped out great areas for shots, and even had some small props for us to use if we wanted!). My boyfriend and I aren't the most photogenic people and are NOT used to being photographed, but Shannon made us feel so comfortable and turned our awkwardness into some absolutely beautiful pictures! She posted a sneak peek the night of the shoot, and then had our pictures edited and sent to us within a week. We were BEYOND impressed with the quality of her photographs and had such a hard time choosing which ones to print! My family and I had a great experience with Shannon and Snapshots with Shannon! I highly recommend her. I saw her on Thumbtack and reached out to inquire about a family photo shoot for my parents' 30th wedding anniversary, less than a month before the date we wanted to take the photos. Shannon responded within 2 hours and was available on the date I requested. Throughout the entirety of our communication, Shannon was prompt, thoughtful, and professional. She is also LGBT-friendly! The pricing for the shoot was fair (and great!) - $100 for a one-hour shoot. I think she took between 200-300 photos during her one hour with us. She even arrived early to scope out the location for good shots. Shannon sent a sneak-peak of the photos within 36 hours of the shoot, and she sent a complete online album via email within 2 weeks (about 50 photos). My family and I are able to print the photos where we want to do so. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend Shannon for a family photo shoot and any other photo needs.

I loved working with Shannon for my “teacher” professional photos! Shannon was quick to respond to all questions, had personalized props for my photo shoot and made me feel comfortable during our one on one session. I loved seeing a glimpse of all of my photos each day through her “sneak peeks” on Instagram. Very easy going photo shoot that resulted in awesome images! Thanks Shannon!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love to meet with clients prior to their shoots if possible. If not I like to make sure we have a good way to communicate and I’ve answered any questions they may have. We talk through budgets and “must haves”. I like to let the clients lead the conversation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a real go-getter. Other than one film photography class in college I took because it looked like a ton of fun - I don’t have any training! Does experience count? :) I’m always looking for ways to practice, watch videos, listen to podcasts, read blogs.... I’m really into this and want to be the very best I can be with what I have!
