Introduction: I teach highly personalized drum/percussion, bass and guitar lessons out of my home studio. I have a B.A. in Music from Trevecca Nazarene University, with a concentration in drums and percussion. I have over 15 years of musical performance experience in Nashville, TN and the Greater Michigan area. To me, it is absolutely crucial to create an open, accepting and fun environment for teaching lessons. I personalize every lesson to the learning style and personality of the student. Having taken lessons for 10 years myself, I've learned that investing in a fun and positive environment is imperative in helping motivate the students to accomplish their goals! Playing music has formed a vital role in my life. From my early days in school where it helped form my social circles, to teaching me how to be disciplined to accomplish my goals. Becoming a musician has changed my life and I love that I get to help others incorporate music into their lives as well!
