Fair but competitive price for cutting a couple acres worth of lawn. I was on a time crunch as the property was getting listed in less than 48 hours. Tom arrived on time (as prior communicated to me) and came back multiple times during a water-logged day whereas he very well could have just said "I can't do it," and split for good. He didn't. Got the job done and I was happy to hire him for a recurring job.
