FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always like to meet potential customers as soon as possible. I do free estimates and I make an effort to communicate with customers effectively from start to finish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Mi. Residential Builders license. Other than that I have learned my trade on the job as well as reading and studying the techniques of others through books and videos. My favorite teacher was a man named Roy Underhill. His tv show, The Woodwright Shop, taught me many skills that help me get things done many times easier and more quickly with what most people today think are outdated tools. The best tool I have is my brain.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always enjoyed doing woodworking. As a child I spent every moment I could around my Dad who is a mechanic and my uncle that is a carpenter. From there it grew into a passion.
