Bobby did a fantastic job on our basement carpet reinstallation after a small water issue. The project involved reinstalling the existing carpet, adding new padding, reattaching everything to the tack strips, properly stretching it, and reinstalling the baseboards — and he handled all of it seamlessly.
He went above and beyond by even going out of his way to pick up a transition strip for us and made sure it matched the exact color we wanted. Everything looks clean, tight, and professionally finished.
Bobby was super responsive, showed up on time, and was professional throughout the entire process. This was our first time using Thumbtack and he made it a great experience.
What really stood out was that he took extra time to walk through the house with us to help figure out where the leak may have been coming from — and is even coming back to help address it. That level of care is hard to find.
Highly recommend Bobby — we’ll definitely be using him again.
