- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing to do home repairs can vary a lot in the industry. I can tell you I have been doing this for over 20 yrs and I have seen a lot of guys come and go for many reasons. One is pricing. If you were to get 4 quotes we are usually going to be right in the middle. If your not charging enough the business will never grow and will fail and if your charging to much you'll never get the amount of work it take to keep 8 crews busy every year. Pricing and quality is how we do over 700 jobs every year and maintain an A+ BBB score.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually meet with you to get back history of the house and evaluate the home to give you an accurate quote to do repairs not just an estimated amount. I also manage the project and take care of allm the follow up and quality inspections during and after the job. We do it this way so that everything that is promised during the quote is put into action during the project. When to many people get involved you loss those things in translation we believe and have learned with our experience.
