What started as a simple installation of new island and pantry ended up becoming a bigger transformation. Tom painted existing cabinets to perfectly match new KraftMaid ones, and the results were exceptional, several family members and friends have commented on how professional the finish looks.
He also installed cabinet hardware, added under-cabinet lighting, resized a base cabinet to fit our new gas stove, ran wider exhaust pipe for kitchen hood, replaced microwave and kitchen faucet, and installed beautiful crown molding that completed our kitchen makeover. Our kitchen looks brand new thanks to his craftsmanship, precision, attention to detail.
His father helped by adding closed mail shelves in three bedrooms and assisting with swapping refrigerators between kitchen and basement.
Tom is multi-talented and truly hard working, so I highly recommend booking him early. I would absolutely recommend him for any home improvement project, his work, reliability, dedication are top-notch.

Tom was reliable, respectful, and easy to communicate with throughout the process. I appreciate the effort he put into making sure the work was done right. I would definitely recommend him for home improvement projects, and I would be happy to work with him again in the future.

Tom responded in a timely manner. He explained how he would fix the cabinet, and gave me a reasonable quote. He was able to schedule me fairly quickly. I found him to be personable, professional, and skillful. I admire his honesty and integrity. He is a good communicator. He called me to let me know he was running late, and when he got here, he explained what he was going to do to fix the cabinet, and why it came apart. He got to work and kept at it until it was done. The appliance repairman who installed the microwave yesterday, who was here for the first install, said Tom did a great job on the repair. I agree. I highly recommend TM Designs.
