About
I am classically trained with a secondary in jazz guitar. I have exceptional technique and use it for all styles of music. This is how my students climb the ladder faster than others. I also have an exceptional ear, I haven't heard anything I cannot play, so when you bring me something I'll be able to process it right away and begin showing it to you.
I am a people person. I love meeting new people and showing them that "Yes, I can do this!"
You can check out some of our studio recordings on Spotify, and ITunes under the band name “Seven To Zero”
My studio is in Livonia 48150.

I’ve been taking lessons with Marc for a few months now and he has been wonderful! I have a music background but am a beginner at guitar. Marc has provided me with helpful practice routines, tips to make sure I don’t develop bad habits, and advice on how to improve my playing. He has a wealth of musical knowledge and is easy to talk to. Lessons with him have been a great investment—I definitely would not be where I’m at today if I just taught myself.

I've been playing on and off for 20+ years self taught but knew I needed help to actually progress from where I've been stuck for a while. Marc has been extremely helpful, knowledgeable and just all around excited to be teaching music. Anything you want to looking into/work on he's on board and will help in any way he can.

I am 17 and finally started learning guitar, which I thought I was too late. Going to Mr.Michaud’s lessons helped me find the confidence which allows me to be better and learn faster despite the lack of experience . He is very educated in any topic relating to music, a product of his many years of experience, Mr. Michaud is delivers quality and professional instruction. Recommend him to any level players, where he will prove to you that there is always room to improve. To invest in myself by taking lessons from Mr.Michaud has been the best decision I made!

I tried several teachers. I picked two to start with for a month. In the end Marc was the best fit. His knowledge of guitar is first class. He's patient, but he will also challenge you to be your best. I was lost before, but now I have set goals to achieve what I want with guitar. I can definitely see an improvement in my skill and knowledge after working with Marc. I wish I had started with Marc as my teacher when I first picked up a guitar.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge 30.00 per half hour, 45.00 per 45 min, 60.00 per hour.
Also, I prefer one on one interactive lessons but I have been getting inquiries about group lessons and Skype/FaceTime lessons which I do teach both! With a group lessons setting there will be an additional cost (pending on the situation IE how many students, and what the needs of each are.). With Skype/FaceTime the cost is the same.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always make sure to screen my new students for their goals and needs. For example, If your here to learn how to pick and grin but do not prefer learning to read music, that’s what we’ll do! If you prefer to delve into the theory of music as well, great! We’ll divide the lesson up in two parts: 1) working on reading notation/theory and 2) learning how to get better at the instrument!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm always learning new ways to interpret the guitar. Right now I am currently redefining my teaching approach based on the C-A-G-E-D system
