- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project is unique. Pricing is tailored to the scope, complexity, and deliverables of your shoot. We have clear starting points for services (e.g., hourly or day rates for shoots, flat rates for specific projects). Discounts may be available for: long-term contracts, nonprofits or community-focused projects, and referrals or repeat clients. Additional Fees will be incurred for travel outside a certain radius, expedited delivery, and licensing fees for commercial or extended usage of images. A deposit is required to secure bookings, with the balance due upon project completion or delivery. I am open to discussions about budgets to accommodate various needs while maintaining high-quality results.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Step 1: Initial Consultation We start with a meeting to understand your needs, goals, and vision. This can be in person, via phone, or online. Key topics include: -Purpose and scope of the project (e.g., branding, product shots, event coverage). -Style preferences and any inspiration you’d like to share. -Timeline, budget, and deliverables. Step 2: Proposal & Agreement Based on the consultation, we provide: -A detailed proposal with services, timelines, and pricing. -A clear contract outlining terms, including licensing and usage rights. -A 50% deposit is typically required to secure the booking. Step 3: Pre-Production Planning We collaborate to prepare for the shoot: -Location scouting, shot list creation, and concept development. -Coordination with stylists, models, or other vendors if needed. -Detailed timelines to ensure a smooth shoot day. Step 4: The Photoshoot On shoot day, we focus on creating a professional yet relaxed environment to bring your vision to life. This includes: -Real-time previews to align with your expectations. -Attention to detail, from lighting to composition, ensuring high-quality results. Step 5: Post-Production After the shoot, we meticulously edit and refine the images: -Color correction, retouching, and any agreed-upon adjustments. -A preview gallery for feedback if necessary. Step 6: Final Delivery We deliver the final images digitally, ready for your intended use. This includes: -High-resolution files for print. -Web-optimized files for online use. -Additional formats or edits, if specified in the agreement. Step 7: Follow-Up We check in to ensure you’re completely satisfied and discuss any future needs. Many of our clients become long-term collaborators!
