PLEASE NOTE!! I am an IN HOME, MOBILE groomer!! Just a quick heads up for all of you dog moms and dads. I’ve had THREE “Help! My dog got skunked!!” requests in the last week. I’m guessing the skunks are out and breeding. Watch your pups when they’re outside!! End of PSA, lol I have over 35 years experience showing and grooming all breeds of dogs to finish their AKC championships with many going on to compete for Top Twenty nation-wide rankings. I haven’t shown in a few years as all my pups are seniors now, but maybe because of that, it’s sparked an intense interest in catering to geriatric, anxious and special needs pups. I’ve been known to travel 180 miles round trip to groom a senior pup who had recently had surgery and couldn’t be exposed to the other dogs at a grooming salon. For these pups, and the anxious ones the fact that I don’t have or use a truck is heaven for them 😊 I use my clients bathing facilities and need an area with an electrical outlet to set up my equipment all the while keeping them happy and comfortable in an environment they’re familiar with. If they’re happier with Mom or Dad there, that’s fine with me! I get so much satisfaction from taking care of these more challenging pups, it’s hard to put into words! Of course, I also groom happy, well adjusted pups too 😉 I feel blessed to have found a way to be with dogs I love and take care of them at the same time. Thank you for looking at my profile.
