Just DO IT! My husband and I wanted to take a couple of dancelessons so that we didn’t do a full on bear hug at a wedding reception. We did not want to be professional dancers, nor be in any competitions. We just wanted to learn social dance. To make a long story short, we connected with Allison and ended up taking several years of dancelessons just because of her. I was more enthusiastic at first, husband not so much. However, Allison made him confident. My husband is a ham now 😂. She has a way of teaching and correcting without making you feel like a failure. There are so many reasons to say why you should take lessons from Allison, just do it. You will not regret it!

Her knowledge is outstanding, and her energy makes every lesson fun.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was introduced to ballroom dancing through an instructor renting space at a studio I was teaching hip hop at in 2001. After training with that instructor for a couple years, I trained to become a certified instructor through Arthur Murray and returned to teaching and competing independently.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I choreographed around 30 people in a flash mob parade marriage proposal. The project took about 2 months total and it was so much fun.
