My wife and I contracted Matt to add 10" of cellulose insulation to our second floor attic and to repair a roof leak along a 2nd story dormer, both simple tasks. We paid Matt $1500 up front (60% of the entire job) to perform the work. He made 2 trips (late both times) to blow in the additional cellulose. Its pretty simple to do math (had 5-8" originally plus 10" would yield a minimum of 15" across the attic). After the two trips and a host of excuses (the blower didn't work, I put in 130 bags of insulation that's what I promised, you don't need that much the ceiling will buckle), he left the job (without an attempt at repairing the roof) and has not returned nor responded. We have 10-11" of insulation total (including the original amount), resulting in half of what we agreed upon, the tape measure doesn't lie! He and his staff disposed of the cellulose insulation wrappers (from the manufacturer) into our garbage cans, found 55 wrappers, not the 130 he claimed. Funny enough, based on the insulation manufacturers own calculations and the size of our attic, the 55 should yield about 5" of insulation. Exactly what we now measure. Do your homework and pick reputable contractors. Check out their work and references. We recently found 2 other acquaintances that used Matt, with similar deceptive results. Look elsewhere to find an honest and capable contractor.

We spent two days blowing this insulation! We disposed of lots of bags into our own dumpster! You had maybe 3-4" of insulation prior. Never been treated so horrible from yhe moment we arrived! Your arrogance and condescending way of being is ridiculous! We hadn't been there for an hour and were being asked how much money you were getting back! I didn't bother doing the gutter replacement because you owed me 1000 $ and I knew you weren't going to ever pay me! Your version is hilarious! You tried to take advantage of the little guy!

Matt was doing was a very basic remodel. Drywall, painting, installation of various handles, hardware, faucets, ect. A bathroom tub and shower. Some degree of work, but nothing elaborate. Just a simple job. He used raw, unsanded wood for trim. Used several different types of paint--inconsistent throughout entire home. Poor quality materials, even worse workmanship. Did not use primer prior to drywall painting. Paint drips & drops on all doors, walls, and bleeding onto new floors. In a nutshell, it is simply falling apart. They left a hall closet unfinished, a spare bathroom a mess-- they had been using tub to rinse paint. Paint is all over tile floor. We we very alarmed that a key not been returned and when Matt entered the property (well after the job was done) without permission and found it necessary to change our locks and alert neighbors. Not understanding how this type of work or strange behavior garners any business for this company. We now have a new contractor to completely re-do the entire home. All painting and drywall, ceilings, windows, trim, doors, all do it. At a very considerable cost.

I have no idea who this is?? I have been notified of someone making random claims about my business etc..I take my business seriously and have never had anything like this before. We did not do this or any other work for this person. My work is well documented with daily pics of work before, during and after completion! Posted to Facebook immediately! Please do your research before making claims like this to obviously defame my character and my crew! I only have two guys and both are very good stand up guys! Sad someone would do this....

Not considered in doing the job right. Dishonest with his work. Takes your money and doesn't do the job.

I did repairs on a roof that has been rotten for many yrs. I took pucs of it and showed the husband and offered to take repair cost off of a roof replacement. Having said that I would not warranty any repairs due to severe rot of all roof decking and obvious ductape and staples throughout the roof causing this problem I would warranty a full roof replacement. Not my problem that you have had your roof tarped and stapled etc...your roof has to be replaced! Completely new decking etc...I encouraged your husband to get several bids to compare prices! What more can I do!?
