FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A minimum of two hours will be charged for home visits for smaller task type items. I do not charge for quoting a project. Upfront clarity of pricing for services is the key to long term clients. Some small task type jobs can be done on an hourly basis but most job quotes will be for the entirety of the project. That way you as the client will have a full understanding of what you are paying for and receiving. I’m sure most people are aware that the lowest price is not always, and very rarely, the best quality. Think about those friends you talk to that say; “If I were to use someone again I wouldn’t have gone with the cheapest”. This usually is because the quality of work is reflective in their pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If a new client can give specific detail of what they are looking to have completed then usually a phone call or message can be used for an accurate quote on pricing. Many times an initial visit is needed in order to determine exactly what work and steps are needed to make sure the project is done professionally and completely. It is a best business practice to make sure goals and expectations are clear in the beginning of the client relationship.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with clients that have a specific need or vision of a project and those that need some guidance on decor and the project goals.
