**BEFORE YOU CONTACT ME** To keep my schedule open for people who are ready to move forward (not just fishing for rough estimate numbers), please have the following ready: 2–3 photos of the area or item. Rough measurements (door size, wall length, opening dimensions, etc.). Your ideal timeline. Sending this upfront lets me give you a realistic price range and tell you quickly if I’m a good fit. --- I bring over 20 years of residential carpentry and home repair experience, including 5+ years specializing in door installation with a professional contractor, and nearly two decades maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electronic and mechanical equipment. What I focus on: Doors: entry, storm, security, and interior pre-hung/slab installs. Carpentry & remodeling: small-scale framing, sheds, basement work, repairs. Finish work: trim, casing, baseboard, minor drywall and patching. Problem-solving: fixing the weird, not-quite-standard stuff most people don’t want to touch. I take pride in tight, clean work and clear communication. When I show up, it’s me doing the job from start to finish. --- Typical job range / minimums Most jobs I take fall between $250–$1,500, depending on the scope. I do have a minimum service visit to cover drive time, setup, and cleanup. I charge a minimum of $50 for a door repair service call. If the repair takes more than 30 minutes, my labor rate is $75/hr.
