- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I am learning all the time - whether it is through classes or practice.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I thought I couldn't wear makeup, that my face didn't "fit" what I thought was one that could. I decided to learn all I could to better understand products. Figure out why I was having such a hard time communicating what I wanted. I am not saying that one needs to learn everything, but it makes a huge difference when you communicate what you know works for you and the artist is good at listening!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask lots of questions!! No matter how small or not a big deal. If it's a question about products - ask! if it's a question about pricing - ask! A question about anything will help clairify any concerns you have.
